The article is based on the archaeological materials of the Vilyuy river basin found by the Vilyuy archaeological expedition (1958–1963) and the river Lena archaeological expedition (from 1964 to the present day). The author introduces for the scientific use the Neolithic pottery of Vilyuy by cultures according to the periodization of the Stone Age of Yakutia developed by Y.A. Mochanov. The article provides with the classification tables of the different kinds of pottery by the types of vessels where form and decoration were the basis. The composition of the paste and the color of baking were considered. The materials are kept in the museum depository of the Centre of the Arctic archaeology and paleoecology of a Human of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia).
