They can be interpreted as the choir screens situated in the southern parts of the altar. Analogues to them are situated in the cave temples of Cappadocia of the middle Byzantine period. Apparently it could say about a common way for the Byzantine world of the organization of side altars which was spread in Novgorod land.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vladimir V.
