Keywords: the Migration Period, the Middle Don region, Alans, burial mound, catacomb, funeral rite, grave goods.

The article considers a catacomb burial discovered near the village of Losevo in Pavlovsk district of Voronezh Oblast. As far as funeral rite and grave goods are concerned, the burial is almost identical to T-shaped catacombs of the 4th century AD found in the Lower Don region. It could belong to an Alan who survived after the Hunnish disaster and migrated northwards – to interior regions of the forest-steppe Don region.
